hi, i am not here to hurt feelings or cause ill will i am on to an issue that has bothered me for years, our national anthem god save the queen/king it is so dull and booooriiiiing its time it was changed or spiced up,watching the european football on telly you get to hear a lot of anthems
and beleive me there are some beauts !!but all and all ours leaves the most of them for dead when it comes to dullness,drudgery,and pure bore the***s of you.thank you moan over

If we exclude Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, etc. how about There'll Always Be An England:

Oh For goodness sake Anthems are SUPPOSED to be boring...Can't have anyone really wanting to sing the darned things or we would go round looking patriotic all the time.Can't have that...

Seriously though whatever we had as an anthem would become boring eventually as does any music that's played repeatedly over and over.

National Anthem still sung in Scotland afaik, but there are some who would prefer Flower of Scotland.
