Hey guys just bought a dell laptop and router ( Dsl) but cant install it i have called virgin and asked for the router settings but they wont give them to me can anyone help me

Do you get bb through a cable modem or telephone line .looking at the thread is it a adsl router with a telephone socket on the back ?

yep and they should have gave u them.. all they should have gave u .. is (the router should be set to Automatic or Dynamically assign

thats all they would have told you.

just make sure u unplug the power to all equipment and plug the power into the router.. wait 15 secs then plug power to modem in and they should both marry up..

if you are having issues with this and ur an EX NTL or EX Telwest call 09069910001

You still having problems with this? What make is the router - Most are really easy to setup.
