I have two computers connected to the Internet one hardwired and the other via wireless. On the hardwired i'm getting a connection to the internet around 2mb/s and on the wireless 0.8mb/s.
Local speeds on the wireless are 54mb/s. Does anyone know why the wireless internet is slower? And is there a possible fix?
Wireless can be like that - local interference kills the actual speed, even though the reported connection speed is high. Try changing the channel on the router and/or moving things about.
