Dunno what it is now, but in the past, it was the sailor's hornpipe.

It is a Hornpipe which is called 'Barnacle Bill', it was a type of tune played on sailing ships during off duty times when the call went up 'all hands to dance and skylark'. Contrast this with the call and response songs like 'Drunken Sailor' and 'A Drop Of Nelson's Blood' which were work songs used when turning the Capstan or hauling ropes.
