Self install set top box cable tv

well my cable tv equipment came through the door today but no tech no nothing to help i read teh instructions in the box but teh problem is that i have bb in bedroom and i want cable tv in living room,but teh cables are too short to fit so will i have to get a tech out to wire it up for me thnx

I don't know what they are thinking sending set top boxes out as self installs to be honest.

I know we all could not belive it when we were told about self installs .What model of box did they send you ?

when i ordered it they said engineer can come and fix it up for £25 or i could self install for free well already had problesm with my bb every night so don't really want to be paying tehm lolz
