I don't understand why do I pay 25 quid every month for 4M down and 400 kbps up if I never ever have those speeds? In the morning I usually have 2.5M down and 350 kbps up. The same at night. I never goes over 2.6-2.7 and in the evening it is just a CRAWL.
and I call support, what do they do? they start to go through 1st line support stupid questions and testing my modem.

OK busy, then why don't they charge you a fraction of the cost?
Like right now I have 1/8 of the promised speed, why don't they charge me only 3 quid a month then? Why 25???? With NTL I had at least steady 2.5 down. It also never went boynd 2.5 but at least I always had a steady connection. At work I have ZEN provider and even at day time, the busiest time, I have a steady good connection.

I have been ntl customer for 5 years but now I am seriously tempted to switch ISP providers and I am telling all my friends to stay as far away from virgin as they can. Fortunately or Unfortunatelly I am IT tech guy and they listen to my advices.
Frankly speaking it is not going for 2 weeks, it is going for much longer. It started some time in April...
