New modem speed issues

Hi,

Had an technician out today to change our TV boxes and modem. He installed us the new 255 Modem, just set it up etc, but having an issue with speed.

Ran a few speed tests (speedtest.net and the one on the forum) and all confirm I'm only getting 2MB. Just did the "Upgrade Speed" and confirmed the speed is set at "M" (2MB I take it?).

We're subscribed to having 10MB broadband (had 10MB before the modem swap). On the "Upgrade Speed" page (https://autoreg.autoregister.net/cgi/cabletier), can I just select it to upgrade us to 10MB as that's what we pay for, and will it not alter our current bill?

Dont even try it i suggest you phone virgin media on 150 immediately before trying anything else
