Horribly Slow DNS tonight
taking upto 30-40 seconds to resolve webpages tonight in london
i feel like im on dialup

I doubt dns is slow - dns queries generally timeout after a few seconds.

I'm testing just 2.7 mb tonight on a 10mb connection....though it's not really affecting page speeds.

Been the same here in Oldham, similarly normality has just returned, but still on 10 Meg.

Yep im in the Stockport area, have noticed a drop in speed seems to be ok now though!

** Plus ive just invested in satelite broadband which is just going to boost this virginmedia right out of the window :-/

It was very poor for me last night and I lost service after about 11:30 PM and it didn't come back on until earlier today. Seems okay now though I notice VM doing some maintenance again so probably something to do with that?
