Your IP address is dynamic but most Virgin Media customers will find it doesn't change often if at all assuming you are on broadband and don't switch off your modem.
In practical terms using a proxy or similar is unlikely to conceal your IP address. Indeed forums like this one can see past the virgin media proxys. We also know you aren't using one

run a malware/ trojan scan
