Hi All,

I have just got Vigin media broadband, got the internet to work fine direct from the cable modem to my PC but with a big messy cable across the house. Got a Dlink 524 wireless router and usb adapter. Got the USB adapter to work no problem (I know this as I can access next doors wireless connection). Followed the instructions for the wireless router and got that to work with the ethernet cable plugged in to the PC. When this is in it says wireless is connected and I can access it via my laptop. Great but I dont want an ethernet cable from the wireless router to my PC so I unplug the cable from the PC to the router. My laptop can still connect but my PC says the LAN is disconnected??? help?
