Aaah but if i didn't have my son i'd probably spend all my money on bacardi breezers and laptops..... oh wait i do that anyway..

It's all worth it though And most people don't spend as much as people think when they start up because people seem to have this amazing urge to buy things for the baby everytime they pass a shop

It all depends really - some people who have children depend on the state to afford their children, so it's not actually coming out of their pocket anyway, but the taxpayers.
