Netgear WGT624 Problems
The other day i bought the above modem, I had some problems (it had been working OK) and did a full reset.
I connected the cable to the router (as wireless was automatically disabled) I tried to access the router via http://www.routerlogin.com/basicsetting.htm & "http://www.routerlogin.com" & "192.168.1.1" and it times out.
In the shop the guy accessed it
what is going on??
when I plugged my old router in i'm online instantly
Any ideas

Re: Netgear WGT624 Problems
If you have changed your proxy from your default then you probably can't access it. Try changing it back and see what happens.

Re: Netgear WGT624 Problems
why would changing the proxy affect the router?

Re: Netgear WGT624 Problems
Right I must have disabled the proxy server, because i'm up and running
now connect to the router is a print server, but the router cannot find it.
I've enven typed the ip for it but it will not connect to it

Glad you got up and running but i'm afraid i don't know anything about print servers or networks.

Re: Netgear WGT624 Problems
have you tried "ipconfig /all" in a command window? It will show ip addresses (my network pc's sometimes change if I reset the router). I've not got a print server, but maybe it would show you the ip addresses of attached items. Or try looking in the router login info for attached items. Failing that check you plugged all the cables back in the right slots.
