WRT54GR Questions (I'm a newbe!)

Hi All,

I picked up a WRT54GR on the weekend and I need some help, i apologise if these are stupid questions but this is the first time I have ever set up a network let alone a wireless one!

I will get the more daft question out of the way.....

On the Linksys manual it advises that the Wireless light should be on, mine flashes all the time....is that the same???

Also, in the last 10 hrs or so (thats how long its been set up) the flashing Wireless has gone completly off and with it the net, the modem was still on and looking ok, bit no wireless light. The only way to sort this was for me to switch off the power to the Router and turn it back on again, then its fine... its happend twice so far...... any ideas?

Thanks!

There may be another wireless network very close to you that is using the same channel. Try changing the default of 11 to something else.

Also make sure you have enabled the security on your wireless.
