vista battery?

Is there anyway to get vista to reconise with my macbook is running on battery?

I got vista working fine on the macbook thanks to bootcamp but for some stupid reason it shows plugged in, not charging when the macbook is running off its battery. It does show the correct charge level remaining though so im not quite sure whats going on.

Xp didn't seem to have a problem determining if the macbook is plugged in or not.

Edit: Nevermind there was a device in device managed called Microsoft Ac adaptor, removing it and letting it redetect it seems to have solved the problem
