Will this router work with my NTL E08C007?

Hi,

I have a NTL E08C007 SACM and I want to set up a wireless network for a Squeezebox 3. I'm looking at a NETGEAR WGT624 ( http://www.dabs.com/ProductView.aspx?Quicklinx=2SQN ).

So;
1) Will this work with my NTL Cable Modem?
2) Do I need to enter an NTL username/password to get it to work or are those details held on the Cable Modem?
3) Anybody any other wireless router recommendations for my cable modem?

Thanks in advance, Paul

Yep that should do the trick nicely And all you should need to do is reboot your Modem and plug the router in for it to work. No username/password needed.

A NTL E08C007 SACM is the same as a ntl:250 modem I think? If I'm right about the modem, then that router your looking at should work nicely.

What prompt replies! Marvellous.

When you say reboot my modem - I take it you mean just unplug it and then plug it back in?

Yep, just leave it unplugged for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in.
