Re: safecom dsl router

turn everything off

connect a rj-45 cable between 'wan' port on router & the modem

connect a rj-45 cable between one of the 'lan' ports on the router & the network card in your pc

turn on the modem, leave it for at least 30 second to stabilise - 'synch' and 'ready' lights should be lit.

turn on the router, and again let it stabilise, you should get lights corresponding to a WAN link

finally, turn on the computer, which 'should' initialise your connection ??

- 'connection' after that is a function of which browser to choose to use, I'm not going there ...

- or you could try the link that Cobby posted
