Centre speaker recommendations, please

My current 5.1 system is as follows. It's about 6 years old now, but still does the job.

Amp: Yamaha DSP-A5

Front speakers: a pair of Tannoy MX3s

Centre speaker: a Tannoy MXC

Rear speakers: a pair of B&W LM1s (smaller & nicer looking than the Tannoy MX1s)

Sub: Yamaha YST-SW45

I've hit a bit of a problem though after getting my new 26" Samsung HD LCD...I now have nowhere to put my centre speaker

My MXC used to sit on top of my big ugly 28" CRT TV....Can't do that with the LCD though.

Plus, the speaker is too big to stick it near the base of the TV, on top of the TV unit thing, & there's no free space within the unit itself (one shelf has the XBox360 & the other has the Sky box).

So, I've had to disconnect it for now, & am currently centre-less.

I don't want a whole new system, as it cost a fair bit back when I got it, & it still does a great job.

What I want is a small centre speaker I'd be able to actually place somewhere (perhaps in front of the TV's swivel base thing, on top of the unit), to replace my unfortunately too large & heavy MXC (but not too weedy to go with my amp & other speakers).

Anyone got any recommendations for good, compact, centres? Maybe something thinner/narrower.

shame dude im happy with my big Kef coda centre and no matter that happens to my entertainment set up the speakers get priority. Ive spent a lot of money balancing my system and I wouldnt compromise it for the sake of an xbox.Id either buy a new stand or put the xbox somewhere else

Nowhere else to put the XBox.

New stand may be a better option though
