package change ?

Hi guys

Been on the free 2 meg upgrade for a couple of months. Fired up the pc last week and got the ntl provisioning screen. Couldn't re-register (stb not recognised) so rang helpline and spoke to an indian guy with a very heavy accent which didnt help however he said i had to re-register due to a package change. Told him i couldnt re-register and that i hadn't changed anything To cut a long story short we eventually got it going by uninstalling/reinstalling the network card, then i could re-register. my latest bill shows part month at 1 meg and part at 2 meg (same price obviously) but i don't understand why i had to re-register two months after the speed increase Anybody else seen this happen ??

(i'm using a samsung2100)

Re: package change ?

Are you sure they upgraded you before or has it only just happened?

Re: package change ?

I have been on 1mg until now. When I tried to log on this afternoon I got a
computer not recognised message & to re boot STB, re register PC etc.
I have done as instructed & find I am now on 2mg!
I am in the Bromley area.

i've been on 2 meg for at least 2 months now but 2 meg has only just appeared on the bill, the date of which coincided with when the provisional log on screen appeared
