Re: Redten Internet
It does seem good, too good as you say, from what I read, you get the pc, monitor and internet for £20 + per month, something must be 'up' with this

Re: Redten Internet
im imagining your tied to something like a 3 year contract. I dont know if these are the dudes but one company was doing it im not sure of the contract terms but after the 3 or 4 year contract you signed a new one and allegedly get another new pc

Re: Redten Internet
You're tied in for 3 years:

How do I pay?
Each package and upgrade option can be paid for in one of two ways: either in simple monthly payments over three years, or if you prefer, as an upfront lump sum. If you choose the latter option, we'll even knock 10% off the total cost to make things a little easier for you.
|
So you'll end up paying £810 for the Family pack if you opt to pay it all in a lump sum.
Then what happens if the connection is crap? hmm nice guaranteed income they have secured themselves for the next three years.
I am too cynical for this sort of thing- there is no such thing as a free lunch.

True, if you have paid upfront you could stand to lose out, if you take the £20 p/m option then you have the pc, depending on connection etc etc surely you would have some get out if they failed to deliver, don't get me wrong, I agree, there is nothing for free, but it does seem to be half right at least

Re: Redten Internet
well your right I know my connection would be crap as ive tried adsl and cant keep a connection over 4 meg .Thing is if it kept dropping like it did when I was on Ukonline chances are i could hold them in breach of contract for not providing a constant service which is what I did with Ukonline. However there should be a clause in the contract allowing call back on the pc if such a senario ensues
