Monitor any good ?

Hi,

I am thinking of getting a new monitor a TFT. I have seen one which has the following spec

Hewlett Packard
19” LCD Screen with silver surround
Max resolution 1208 x 1024
Response time 16Ms

That is all I know about it at the moment.

My question is, is this any good, or is the reponse time too slow ?

Also will it be ok for games like:
Need For Speed Underground 1 & 2
Need For Speed Most Wanted
Need For Speed Carbon
Quake 4
Call of Duty (including Call of Duty 2)
Unreal
Also other games

Regards,
Garry

Re: Monitor any good ?

If its free its great but I assume your going to pay for this...

Response time is slow for a tft nowadays - you should aim for about 6ms response with some now performing in the 2-3ms.

Resolution is a bit low now aswell - 1600 + in my opinion

What is the maximum refresh rate? aim for 100mhz
