Introducing a band that are cool

Burn out in the capital.

An old mate of mine is in the band, and I've just been hearing about them.
Had a listen to some of their stuff and was suitably impressed.
I think I'll gan and see em at Stockton fest.

have a looksie and see what you think.

Let me know what you think, their debut album was released last December, and has had some great reviews, including I believe airplay on radio 1.

Re: Introducing a band that are cool

When I listen to them, I hear a lot of other bands, which is not a bad thing.
Lost prophets kinda sound to me, and I am still staggered to think that my mate Kev has attained a level of music that has gone beyond college band, I wish him and the rest of the band, along with my recently departed other mate from the band Phil, and I wish phil all the best in his future careers.

Re: Introducing a band that are cool

SIRF is a load of pants this year. They have even moved Live 05 to the following weekend with Boney M as headliners!!!!

You know last year we had a Kerrang stage with that band I dont like Biffy clyro, this year we get boney ****ing M!

The festival usedf to be great and at least a week long, but I seem to remember it being 2 weeks, what now, 4 ****ing days!

Not even an appearance form the wildcats of Killkenny, you cant have a riverside fest without em and they are not there!!!!!

Looks like I'll go see BOITC and then gan home.

Interesting. Not quite my kind of thing but they have a good thing going and the songs are good. Good luck to them.
