Best for my situation?

Hi I'm moving house for a while, (few months) but can't live without the internet, so which service would be best for me?

NTL are doing one for 12 months at 9.99/month so that works out at £120

realistically I'll only need the connection for about 2-5 months, I don't mind if its cable/adsl whatever.

1mb+ is preferable.

The location is Chorlton-***-hardy, Manchester. M21

TIA

Re: Best for my situation?

Remember that the £9.99 a month ntl offering is for 1 meg Broadband with a 3GB a month useage allowance. OK so that isn't rigidly enforced yet, but if it is inadequate for your needs, don't choose it.

Have a look at many of the ADSL suppliers, a number of them don't tie you inot 12month contracts, just a month, which may work out ceahepr, for better speed, than 12 months on cable at low speed. Sorry off the top of my head I don't know which ISPs.

Re: Best for my situation?

Is there any chance I could qualify for the student deal, and sign up for 9 months instead of 12?
