How does that work....presumably points=discount at amazon?

Judging by your attachment, spending £3000 on your card gets you a £15 Amazon voucher. Only £1500 spent at Amazon gets you the same, or a combination thereof.
However, there are cards out there that will give you up to 1% cashback (eg money off your ccard bill), the same rate as you get buying Amazon goods. ( www.smile.co.uk looks like a good cashback scheme)

Get a credit card, a simple no thrills one with a low rate but also have a debit card and use your debit card on sites such as amazion, play, game and itunes. Debit cards are much better

They have been running it for at least a year now. It is run by the Halifax.
