No Email, No NTLworld.com

Aaaaargh! Got no email and can't access the ntlworld.com site. Sounds like overnight maintenance is overrunning. Anyone got the inside track?

Sympathies to anyone working a tech support shift this a.m. - could be a long one!!

Yep, sure looks like last nights planned work has overun. I can't access my virgin.net mail either (which also runs on the ntl network).

Yup, same here.

None of my ntl email accounts appear to be working, no webmail and no ntlworld... ouch!

And all the support engineers are probably in a meeting right now being told they are redundant.

I don't think it's last night's maintenance overruning, as it was all working fine at about 7.30 this morning. Problems started about 8.00 (occasional timeouts and connection failures), with permanent failure from 8.30. Maybe last night's maintenance was to downgrade all the servers

Still, it could be worse. Most of us are only experiencing problems this morning, but according to the service page Southampton have had ongoing problems since April last year!
