how do i install talktalk modem, plz help

im doing this on behalf of a friend, they are not computer literate, and they cud not get no help from talktalk cust service..so if someone cud give me basic guide on how i can set this up ill be grateful

Modem? Is your friend trying to go onto TalkTalk? If so there is no hardware to install?

They've already got the modem, but i have no idea how to set it up because im trying to tell them how to do it over the phone...

Is it BB? Are they just signing up to the phone service (with a dialer box (although I believe talktalk is a CPS service) or what? What OS do they run, is there a driver disk? A little more info please
