Cannot close window!
Hello, I have had a stupid advert open itself up in the other browser window I have open that I am unable to close at all. Its one of those trick ones that you cant click the x in the corner and trying to close it from the taskbar isnt going to work either! Its an advert about free sms logos etc which popped up and took over when I went to look at a website. Can anyone tell me how to get rid of it please? Thanks.

ctrl-alt-del it brings up the task manager and you can end the application/process.

don't forget the good old standby of ALT-F4 to close the ACTIVE (has current focus) window

Right click on empty taskbar space and then on task manager...lazy way.

Spybot S&D
Also after use Spywareblaster, to stop ad aware/mailware downloading onto your PC. Works a treat.
