Hotels and Parking (Manchester) UK
I am going on my jollydays in November (ok 2005!!!) and wondered if anyone knew a way of getting a discount at one of the hotels in Manchester (ideally the Radisson SAS)
I'd need two double/twin rooms both with cots, and parking for two cars for 17/18 days (depending if they work on a midnight clock or check in clock)
Quotes to date:
Radisson £169 for 15 days parking then £7 per day
Crowne Plaza £140 for 15 days parking then £5 per day
I can get the Radisson for £115 but would need to pay £1.50 per HOUR parking!!!
The Radisson is ideal cos I can check-in (flight) and then return to the room to relax etc. cos the hotel is connected to the airport...
Anyone got any mates that work there? Or another scam I can use?

Re: Hotels and Parking (Manchester) UK
Hire a minibus on two oneway hires from one of the hire firms at the airport.
They will move it for you.

Looks like they will do what you require for as low as £59 up to about £115

Re: Hotels and Parking (Manchester) UK
Try de Vere Mottram Hall, they do a deal on room AND transport AND storage of your vehicle till you return.
Just checked out the price £146 per room includes cot.full english, use of all facilities and the transport and stuff
http://www.devereonline.co.uk/hotel_mottram/
Click Tarrif, Leisure Breaks tab, then the aircraft symbol for current prices
I 'might' be able to swing a F&F discount out of this as its November when your flying.
I dont' work for MH but have 'close' connections' with the place

Hotels are the worst place to leave your car for any length of time. Your best bet is prolly either the airport itself (pre-booked parking can be as little as £5 a day at Luton, can't speak for Mcr), or a specialist off-site car park nearby. I don't know what the story is around Manchester Airport, but I'm sure a quick Google will save you a packet.
EDIT
Here you go:
http://www.parkandgo.co.uk/
Gave me four quotes for a fortnight's parking at or near the airport - all of them less than £70.

Re: Hotels and Parking (Manchester) UK
Would agree with Chris T, I know of 2 people who returned to their 'Hotel' to collect their car to find it gone, stolen.
I use Ringway Airparks Manchester (part of BCP) £60 ish a fortnight, they provide a bus service to the airport, 15 min ride away, anytime day or night (usefull if you get delayed coming back).

Re: Hotels and Parking (Manchester) UK
MH has a secure car park, covered by the CCTV, only frequented at night by the odd sheep (if they get though the fence), the staff nipping out for a cig break or maybe the geese from the pond 'on the scrounge
