Broadband Installation

I was wondering if there was anyone working for NTL that monitored these forums, I know there used to be when it was on nthellworld.com.

Anyway, if there is, I was wondering if it was possible to find out where your installation people are, I've taken the day off work to wait in for somebody who was supposed to be here between 8AM and 1PM, they are now 2 hours late. I hope NTL will compensate me somehow for this

ok, wow, somehow, NTL have totally lost my account, this was just for moving my broadband from one place to another (moving house).
This really sucks, now I have to wait for one of their people to ring me.

I hope this doesn't take hours more.

I will do, it was just a small update so if there is anyone from NTL watching, they know what's going on.

I wouldn't wait for someone from NTL to ring you, I'd ring them back. Even if you may be on hold for a while.
