BT/yahoo form IM VOIP service.

yahoo and BT have announced that they are in partnership to bring VOIP functionality to yahoo messenger.

the service is now available to yahoo messenger users allowing landline users to call yahoo messenger users over the internet.

Quote:

A call to another BT VoIP user's PC is free. A call from the computer to a landline or mobile phone carries the same tariff as BT's normal BT Together telephone service.
