Re: superhub 2
All this wall mounting talk is all very quaint, but what really matters is when can we expect to get our grubby little palms on this new device?
How soon can I flog my router on eBay!?

Officially, never. The superhub remains property of Virgin Media

Re: superhub 2
Why not just get a couple of hardback books to hold the new Hub upright if you want it on display on a shelf?
No intention of a 'wall mount bodge' here.

Not the SuperHub, my existing separate router - which would be surplus to requirements from what I've read so far about the SH2's WiFi performance etc.

Use the super hub 2 for a little while before you flog your router on Ebay.

Can someone who works for Virgin give us a vague time frame?
Will we see it rolled out within the next 3 months or less?

It frees up desk space and if you can wall mount it you can put it pretty much anywhere (don't need anything to stand it on).

Hide it? Yes if it is in your bedroom (as a lot are) if it interferes with you getting to sleep.
I too don't see the need for wall-mounting as if it's free standing (I take it it stands upright as the last one did) there is a better circulation of air to aid cooling.

And people wonder why the wireless signal doesn't go very far

That's a little misleading Ben, there's plenty of other things that can screw the wireless and sticking it out of view is not really one of them.
