Was just thinking that myself - No sign of the upgrade in Harrogate HG1.

It's kind of surprising that they've not updated the schedule page since the 8th of july.

Re: Virgin 4Mb to upgrade to 10Mb February - Summer
Well, I'm now reading Stockport as August instead of July, and expanding that further, I would expect the upgrade stuff all done by September, but in reality, probably won't see it until October and it'll be November before I notice and with that said, it'll probably all happen on Christmas day... if not on New Years day and we'll be halfway through January and they'll really mean February and...
yeah... I've somehow stopped expecting the 4-10 meg upgrade happening overnight
(overnight - which would mean the 'next day' which would really mean the day after next, in which case you might aswell say 'weekend' - which they don't really work (do they?) and that'll mean the following Monday or sometime next week... )

If you are a Virgin Media customer then the best speedtest is from the link below which is from a dedicated server within the Virgin Media network, hence the is no www. before the address.
Have you tried going to this link to check your speeds http://gamefiles.virginmedia.com/
click on blueyondergames>demos>then click on at least 2 large files and save them to your desktop, and then wait a couple of minutes then write down the transfer rates on the files that are running> times them by 8 and you will get a truer download speed.

Re: Virgin 4Mb to upgrade to 10Mb February - Summer
Some areas may have TBC written beside them, however the area may have recieved the upgrade. There have been a lot of instances were that's happened. It's all just about Virgin having to confirm it on their site.

Re: Virgin 4Mb to upgrade to 10Mb February - Summer
I re-read my last post and feel that it's becoming the reality around here... 7 days to August (and our holiday to the fully upgraded NE (of all the ironies)) - we'd best be on 10meg by the time we get back!

May I ask where you live as the Baguley server covers a really large area?
