Just been scanning thru recent posts and doubts are being raised again regarding universal HD,Gutted I myself contacted universal owners and am still awaiting a reply.I want this channel more than Atlantic !!!!!!

Hard to believe, I know, but some people have to fill the whole screen with a picture and prefer distorted stretchivision to the correct aspect ratio

Haha, I know.. especially when wide screen TVs started to become popular and there was the mentality of having paid for a wide screen and wanting to fill it. There's a difference between choosing to stretch the picture and having it forced upon you.
