Not a Vodafone Sure Signal user myself, but I understand it's firewall related. Try Firewall set to "Low" and all the pass-through options enabled.
I believe that works, in which case, you could try some other combinations and see which ones are actually pertinent.

You just need to enable IPSec pass-through (firewall has to be on to change the setting, but should remain changed thereafter)

Virgin wins in Farncombe Wi-Fi tests
Quote:
virgin-superhubVirgin Media’s new Super Hub Wi-Fi modem has been dubbed the best in class by testing services provider Farncombe.
At the request of Virgin, Farncombe and the University of Bristol independently rated the throughput and reach of potential devices and compared them against other operators’ Wi-Fi devices. A new version of Virgin’s Super Hub was introduced in May. <snip>

Re: superhub 2
That is a bad article spun out of the SH2 press release http://mediacentre.virginmedia.com/S...e-UK-2477.aspx
and it manages to leave out detail VM included:
Quote:
|
Based on independent research (University of Bristol and Farncombe), Virgin Media’s new Super Hub outperformed competitors on speed over a variety of ranges. The new Super Hub was benchmarked against competitor hubs from TalkTalk, Sky and BT (Home Hub 3). A graph showing the results of the independent testing is available on request. In the 5GHz band BT’s Home Hub 4 is capable of speeds up to 300Mbps using two antennas compared to speeds of up to 450Mbps using three antennas on Virgin Media’s new Super Hub. Independent testing of Virgin Media’s new Super Hub against BT’s Home Hub 4 will take place over the coming weeks.

Re: superhub 2
I hope the SH2 is an indication of Virgin actually investing in better equipment now. I hope it starts to apply to the whole network.

Re: superhub 2
he has brought the downstream lower, and that looks good, however the upstream is looking a little low to me

yeah defo, that is the lowest I have even seen. I thought the modem was supposed to incrementally increase the upstream until it gets to the right level of power?
