just as a side note, not sure if everyones aware but the new retentions offers are subject to price change just like all the other packages, so if say in 6months the family pack goes up by a pound, you wont get an extra £1 credit

Well after reading that lot, I feel a bit stupid now As we pay around £74 a month for our lot, that's 2Meg, All Calls (day & Night) and the middle TV package with TV Drive box,(H/D) all with Telewest.
Mind you, I must admit, they are good as far as service and reliability goes

bull****!! what about people who where enjoying their ntl package at full cost and through no fault of their own became unable to earn a wage to pay for their package. wise up zeph and give a bit of thought to those who need a bit of help, we are not all scroungers.

Your discounts you had with NTL or TW will remain for the period of time they were valid (usually 3 months, 6 months or 12 months) alternatively you can call cust care and sign up to new deals with Virgin media (you need to upgrade a service or install a new one- but might find that you are paying less than before once you do so).

the reason I went to ntl in the first place was they had broadband without the phone line and every other company said you have to have a phone line. so good on ntl!
