Re: Price Changes from 1st February 2007

This price change leaflet to my mind is very poor, as it only appears to give half the story.

It tells you what the package name changes are, but does not inform you what they cost.

THis could of been a really good marketing exercise, in which the prices and plans you were on, were all displayed and would not of given any confusion to customers, that other posters are having.

The intent to confuse and to withhold prices maybe intentional in order to allow CS/TS to be able to b***s**t freely and unchallenged.

the price for the 10mb with TU24 and XL is wrong it should be 68.54 not the 57 advertised

Does anyone know if I'll still be able to get the 5p talk plan that I'm already on? (or 6p or whatever it is)

Angry Re: Price Changes from 1st February 2007

Everyone seems reasonable happy with this, but the information that hasn't been sent is more interesting.

I am paying £14 for talk unlimited 24, the new price is £25.

I could get the same service including line rental for much less elsewhere!!

HOWEVER, the copy sent to me shows the current price as £57 and the new price as £58.01. The PDF shows the current price as £68.49 and the new as £69.50.

Before I waste 30 minutes or so trying to get through to CS, anyone know if the is a price reduction, or simply a 'printing error'?
It is a printing error, the PDF is the correct price.

probably wont be removed, but if you move off of it, you can't get it back.

Also wont be eligable for any value packs which include Telephone as minimum of Talk Weekends is needed.

Re: Price Changes from 1st February 2007

According to the PDFs mine will be going up just 1p, but it seems to be saying that my BB speed will double from 2MB to 4MB?

Talk Unlimitited Local with DTV Base Oack & 2Mb Broadband £33.99
becomes:
Talk Evening and Weekends Local with TV Size:L and Broadband Size:L
£34.00

According to knowfirst.co.uk Broadband Size:L is 4MB and "free Broadband Extras - loads of exclusive content worth over £35 a month"

Not bad! (Though I doubt any of the "exclusive" content will really be worth anything to me.
...now if they could just solve the NDE01 error on my video on demand....

This sucks! I subscribed to NASN in October for £9.99 on a years subscription, so i could watch my beloved NHL hockey. now they jack up the price to £15 per month for extra channels i have no interest in watching!!

Already contacted NASN on the matter, they sent me a reply. Cos they got bought over by ESPN and are no longer owned by Setanta i thought they might not end up in the sports pack and rebrand to espn. They say they are looking into re-branding but there are no plans to leave the setanta sports pack.

BUT!!! cheers ntl: as i rang up and complained about this and a kind advisor refunded me the difference for the rest of my subscription!!! So anyone else in the same position, i'd recommend u call CS on 150!
