If I lease a car for say 3 years and a new model comes out with a higher spec after 2 years - they don't give me the new model. I can, however, either wait until the end of the current contract and get the new model or pay to end the deal mid contract and get the new model.
|
Yes,but if you,re car was not performing as it should or delivering the performance you expected and the new spec machine was brought out to remedy this would you not expect a replacement.

I would probably want the problems fixed - which appear to have been done

Except it's more like the model of car you bought last year has just been updated with a slightly beefier engine and maybe built-in GPS. You don't just go to the manufacturer and say "I want that new car because it's better than the one I bought off of you a year ago for the same price!". That's not how it works, that's not how any sustainable business works.
In any case, arguing about it on here won't magically grant you a new superhub 2. Go talk to Virgin and see what they say but if they tell you no then there's nothing you can do other than leaving them.

Since when did VM ever do anything any way that made sense?

Most of the time. There wouldn't be a company for you to complain about if they didn't

Re: superhub 2
Hey when was the last time you heard me complaining about VM? Every post I've made in this thread so far has been commending them on the SuperDud 2

Re: superhub 2
Because as a non-VM customer all Superhubs sit in a pile and can't do anything useful, thereby being a dud.

Re: superhub 2
It appears then that you now have very little of value that can be contributed to this particular thread.

I'm pretty sure I had nothing of value to contribute to begin with.

When I get out of contact in a couple of months I shall try that avenue as I never thought of that. If it does not work then fair enough

Did they actually fix or change anything in response to the triallists comments? It doesn't sound like there was much broken to begin with.
