Those types of MP's are precisely the types we don't want.

Is there nobody left who is proud to serve their Country for the Honour of doing so to say nothing of the current remuneration that makes most people go green with envy.

You think they should be paid more?
that's not what i mean
i mean is it a realistic wage compaired to the private sector jobs with less responsibility and a much higher wage
i personally think if you make it easier to get rid of dodgy politicians then we would feel comfortable paying them more ,then if they don't give us the performance expected of them we can boot them out[/QUOTE]

I think paying them more would mean even more career politicians.

Living on rations? treated like s*** ?

This guy should have had a talk with my dad and his sister who were placed into orphanages because their parents split up and their mother could not cope, that was in the 1920's.

After the expense mullarky we had this " everything will change " crap, nothing has changed.

Some will say " well it was a private conversation " sorry, it still doesnt change the fact that nothing will change, one rule for them and one for the rest of us.

I think some of the smaller parties would at least be working in the interests of the people of this country, and I don't think they'd be arrogant or stupid enough to refuse to listen to the advice and opinions of other interested parties, banks, businesses, unions, civil rights groups, charities, etc. And they'd still have an opposition party, likely to be composed of what remained of the mainstream, to hold them to account.

I'm just not willing to settle for the policies on offer from the mainstream, and will vote accordingly. I don't think it's a big gamble.
