Sky OD launches soon. Sky Sports Red Button is in the final stages of development.
The 160,000,000 is being invested in your TV service

Whatever you think about VM there is no doubt, for a company heavily in debt, they are investing. The first thing that comes to mind is 100mb broadband upgrades. A few posts above there is something about ondemand upgrades. That will cost them. Tivo is an ongoing investment with no money yet being received from subscribers (apart from a few staff). Red button upgrades. You may think they should spend the money elsewhere but even there detractors wouldn't deny they are investing.

I bet most people complaining didn't even watch Bravo or Channel One, they were both awful channels.

Thank you for the information it is much appreciated. It would be nice if VM could update its customers directly via email or a press announcement.

I would love to know the answer to one simple question, excluding HD variants and +1 channels how many extra TV channels has SKY got over VM?

Can't agree more, selling channels that are a lot of tosh for £160m seems a good deal to me, plus now having access to premium HD channels . I've got plenty of quality viewing on VM and believe I get value for the money. As for future channels and developments, I'll leave that to the powers at VM, they've done a good job so far and I think they know what they're doing.
We'll get SKY Atlantic eventually, it makes commercial sense for SKY to keep it exclusive for a few months.

bit patronising and others who dont care barb figures showed 2m watched these channels, me included thats not bad viewing figures as sky fabled sky one does not do much better.
On top of my head ive watched chuck from the begining, loved the documentaries of the north see trawler rigs, rescue. The Sparticus sands of time. Got into supernatural through vod was currently watching that from the beginning.
Over the period I have watched virgin 1 more than bravo but bit arrogant of you to acuse those who lost there favourites. Maybe next time it will be your turn when sky kick your favourite channel off air.
Tha fact virgin 1 was one of the most watched Digital channels out there and bravo too at was a flagship channel. Both when you take away the terrestrials was possibly top ten listed by order of viewing.
alwaysabear thats very bad news sky can go well you can imagine the rest
loved Adult swim particularly robot chicken.
