And Sir Alex an Oscar for the biggest laugh, I have seen Rooney and Paul Scholes commit worse fouls than that and get away with it. Sir Alex, just because you didn't win he is shouting his mouth off - at least he got his FOUR minutes again.

Quite agree with Arthur here .I remember (and i'm sure Arthur does too)playing football at school in PE on wet autumn afternoon with mud all over your kit and inprints from the laces in your head off a leather caser that weighed a bag of sand in wet weather .

Quite different nowadays, I just remember scoring bags of goals in 5-aside on artificial turf
Football related news I'm sure you've all heard about but just in case.
Please take a moment to embrace this song.

I know they always rally to get a song to Christmas #1 on Facebook to ward off the X-factor, but this year it's different, it'd be a crime if this hadn't got it.
Fitting song.

Re: Football Season 2012/2013
I know it might be the day of goodwill to all people, but this saga with VP and the Swansea game is starting to get me wound up.
The players of today would not have lasted 5 minutes in the days of Ron Harris and Gazza. All this hype from Ferguson about it could have killed VP, in my opinion VP should have had a straight red for violent conduct, and all he got was a yellow.
Was it the Swansea's player fault that VP moved his head and got in the way of the ball.
This is typical of the players of today, any hint of a foul, penalty or a red card for a player, and the player will go down.
No player should touch the referee in the neat like VP did. We have players that refuse to obey the managers orders also.
The players need to grow up instead of being pampered like Rooney and such likes.
Its true what Harry Redknapp said the other day, he fined a player two weeks wages - 130.000 not bad for two weeks work.
The PL players of today need to grow up.

Obviously they want to extend it for a couple more years.

I won't, don't like the man, I think it's because he's such a bad loser, whilst no sportsman should like losing there's a certain class in doing it gracefully, something he seems to.fail at every time.

"On behalf of Manchester United I congratulate Manchester City on winning the Premier League," said Ferguson.
Such a bad loser, with no class....

I really don't care what you or others think of him. He's a bad loser, so what? Maybe thats why he has been so successful. I just disagreed with your comment that he never loses gracefully or shows class in defeat, not more than any other manager in the league. What he said after losing the league title, to a big rival, in the last seconds of the season, on goal difference, i think shows that.
