Fitted it last week, constant "excellent" and "Very Good" signl strengths, i can stream DVD quality movies over the wireless via the router now, which means the bandwidth is also decent at that range... So, all is good

Nice one. That's far better than I was getting at 25M on WUSB54G.
Mine is a cheap Zydas chip though, so that's possibley the reason...
And i have to agree, when i finally get round to fitting a new PCI card to my sisters Compy (25metres away from the WRT54G and suffering) it should pick up a signal stronger than "weak", or, that's the plan :p
When I had the 54G router behind 2 desktop PCs and a Metal filing cabinet I could get no signal in the same room or anywhere. The antenna could be being shielded by the desktop PC metal case.
