I've got an Airport Express as well. When I bought it (1st generation) I wanted an absolutely rouble free and quick integration with the Airport Express (and it is dual band). For that reason I paid the extra £20 for the Apple brand.
When I moved it to the BT Infinity circuit (over Powerlink), it worked staright away without reconfiguration.
I doubt I'll need another AP in the near future, but I'd certainly buy the nect generation Airport Express if I did need another AP.
It's easy to sneer at Apple. Indeed, for the same reason you're posting on this, I won't buy any Apple computing products. Their OS is way superior to Windows - my instinct ought to be to go for that. But, their application range is exotic and over-priced and what I need to do on a PC usually isn't available in MAC software (e.g. Visio). I certainly don't need to pay over the odds for their Virtual Windows when I can
competitively buy the real thing.
But I do like their networking kit.
