Re: Upload speeds
This article claims Virgin Media are increasing uploads:
30 Mbps customers will be upgraded to a 50 Mbps download with 3 Mbps upload
60 Mbps customers will get 100 Mbps download and 6 Mbps upload
120 Mbps customers will get boosted to 152 Mbps download and 12 Mbps upload

Well that is going to hack off existing customers somewhat isn't it ?? VM are probably hoping they don't notice that new customers get better (and cheaper) again.
No doubt existing customer will have to wait months/years for deadlines that get pushed back -threatening to leave might speed thing up. Why do you always have to do that with VM ? Treating existing paying loyal customers like dirt is a miscalculation.

Any existing customer moving onto a Collection that includes the new speed will get the new speed - which is the same as last time.
And again, as the same as last time, the schedule is there so that the upgrades can be done so that as much as it possible, capacity in each area isn't compromised.

No doubt moving onto a 'Collection' involves a new contract/price.
'Same as last time' -yes - existing customers treated like dirt again.

You seem to intensely dislike Virgin Media, which makes me wonder why you stay with them.
New customers, new revenue - as an existing customer, I have no issue with that.
Recontract for 12 months and get the new speed as an existing customer - I have no problem with that as a loyal customer who will stay with Virgin Media.
Wait my turn as an existing customer to get the upgraded speed - I have no problem with that.
Regards,
Out of Contract Loyal Virgin Media customer with Superhub 2 on my BB M 20Mb service.
Upgrade to 50Mb, free of additional charge, in March.
