Re: Hub software update
There was an internal mail sent round VM yesterday stating that the Engineering guys have found 'an issue' with the R36 firmware; WiFi dropping out etc, disconnecting and not reconnecting automatically, and that this is being worked on and will be released in October sometime.... didn't say what year though

what are you talking about? I would like to remind you that for the majority of customers the shub works perfectly and it is only the small percentage you see on this forum which have problems.

If a model of car worked fine for the majority of people but would randomly restart or veer off the road for a small percentage of people you see on forums having problems...

i was being sarcastic dude and quoting many of the admins and the usual group who jump to its defence. It is nice to see that after all the criticism we have taken for our comments over the last 2 years that the evidence is finally mounting up proving that we were right all along.

Re: Hub software update
Crumbs, I think you both need to call VM if a reboot does not install the R36 firmware.

Re: Hub software update
That would assume those Shubs were actually attached to VM's network....

Re: Hub software update
We tried to use the Superhub as a Router again, after reading about the upgrade in signal, but there was no difference?
So we went back to using it as just a modem again, and reconnected the old Router. Now getting the full 5 bars showing, and not the 3 bars.

That particular hub has never been connected to VMs network
I have one on R19 another on R25, 2 on R36, a VMNG300, then a tonne of other routers
...And a girlfriend (bizarrely)
