I'm so pleased for Dickie Bird, the ex cricket umpire.
He shed tears by the bucket for his MBE and goodness knows how red his eyes will be for his OBE - but heck - at least it'll mean a heck of a lot to him

Arthur seemed to have also overlooked the two major Labour Party contributors who also received honours this year....
