No matter faith you are, it is BRITISH LAW in this country, and the funny point concerning Scottish law, they are much tougher on law in Scotland than they are down here in Lovelly England.

Re: Sharia Law could be coming to England!
Well.... Seeing as some people want laws based purely on religion, why not bring in old testiment laws as well.... We could start by stoning to death everyone who works on the sabbath. Then Stone to death all the gay and lesbian people (I guess that me dead as well as I'm a confirmed carpet muncher ), and ofc to satisfy the more militany muslims in the country we have to throw the bodies of the reciently stoned to death gay and a lesbian people from a mountain top (high building if no mountain is available) and then chop of their heads.... On the negative side.... We'd have about 2 million 1 handed chav's whod be even more useless than they currently are.....

Probably because its not politically correct and some "whitey" might take offence at being called it.

The England football team has more than 3% black players, shall we petition Capello to white it up a bit more?
Here's some more CBBC programming; http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66WbokkZq-0

Do those 2 shows meet your criteria? Maybe you should let BBC know they need to have the correct colour ratio of children in each of their programmes.

No lack of logic or bitterness. It's well known that the BBC is very active in positive discrimination. Finding 2 episodes from a show cancelled 3 years ago doesn't really do much for you, sorry.
The show I actually noted was a kids' show called Tronji where the demographic of the 3 'featuring' children appears nice and carefully chosen. Also worth noting these comments from a BBC writer which is nice and blatant rather than being subtle.

Re: Sharia Law could be coming to England!
I personally am totally against Sharia Law coming to this country, no matter who you are, we are governed by one law, if certain religions or faiths don't like it then tough, If we allow this law to happen, it will open the flood gates to everthing else, but there again this country does everything to keep everyone happy - BRITISH LAW, BRITISH JUSTICE.

Both the Jewish and the Muslim are run under the auspices of the Arbitration Act, and as the article in the BBC website states
Quote:
The Ministry of Justice said: "Communities have the option to use religious councils and to agree to abide by their decisions. These decisions are subject to national law and cannot be enforced through the national courts, save in limited circumstances."
"There may be incompatibilities between English and religious laws and the parties should always have the option to refer to the English or Welsh family courts should they wish to do.
"Any member of any community should know that they have the right to refer to an English or Welsh court at any point, particularly in the event that they feel pressured or coerced to resolve an issue in a way with which they feel uncomfortable.
"We are proud of our diverse society and are committed to ensuring cohesive communities. Nothing in the law of England and Wales prevents people abiding by Sharia principles if they wish, provided their actions do not conflict with English and Welsh law."

Are the Sharia tribunals composed of men and women in equal numbers?

The answer is no papa. Perhaps in a "liberated" society, maybe, but in the stix, no. This foul, unfair & draconian form of punishment is the caveman's answer. It has no place in a modern free society.
I saw the results of a "case" which resulted in a horrible death. The crime was not proved, nor was the defendant given chance to speak. We had orders not to intervene because it was a local matter. Personally, I would have had no qualms about targeting the entire court.
This "hearing" was a joke. No law, just a group of crusty old elders deciding the outcome based on personal grievances. It was simple Murder.
