It's hardly 'introducing a bit of culture' though is it? That there are already seven Sharia 'arbitration tribunals' that are able to make legally binding decisions is astounding. I'm not aware of the same thing for other religions and it totally undermines the concept of one law for all.

Frankly someone wanting to change Britain before it becomes their homeland suggests to me that they don't belong here and can go somewhere that does give them the services necessary to make their homeland. What happened to toleration and assimilation?

Apologies if it's not PC, but having watched 3 CBBC shows with my daughter where out of 9 children altogether a whole 1 was caucasian I'm feeling somewhat politically incorrect.

I believe Jewish communities can and do have this option.

Not legally binding and a replacement for UK civil courts though, and have been around for quite some time so very much the status quo.

i was suggesting wales could do with some culture -it was sarcasm ;)

Actually I was referring to how politically correct the BBC tend to be with their 'interesting' view of demographics. Last I checked caucasian children number a little more than 1 in 9 children in the UK. Your thinly veiled attempt to accuse me of racism says far more about you than about me. 'Positive' discrimination is still discrimination ya know and the Beeb appears obsessed with ensuring we all get a healthy dose of 'diversity' even if they have to exaggerate it.

Anyways that's a little offtopic being born from a swipe at PC-ness.

You wouldn't get that impression from Children's/Educational programmes, News reports involving junior schools or other TV progs that use junior school children.

Before you know it they will be arranging a Muslim Parliament or a Muslim Council of Britain.:rolleyes:

The fact you've brought out such frustrations in a thread about Sharia law says far more about you than i could ever attempt. And my attempt wasn't accusing you of racism, it was accusing you of illogic and bitterness.

The England football team has more than 3% black players, shall we petition Capello to white it up a bit more?

There is ONE law in this country and its called BRITISH LAW, any other law to be brought in, should be stopped.

There are actually 2, Scottish Law and that of England and Wales but in any case nobody is saying Sharia should take over.
