The rent here is dirt cheap if you take bills with respected providers and not as part of the rent :P.

I doubt you could get a uni room for Â£56.50/week including bills and maintenance. It won't happen again since when I signed the contract in September, the place got taken over a couple of months later when the original owner retired, and the new owner has since said the rent will be going up to around Â£65-70/week depending on the size of the room.

Me and two friends are renting a house for Â£42/week each, water included. Can litteraly see the university enterence from my bedroom window. We use very little gas so only really electricity, of which we each use about Â£5 a week.

Not bad if you ask me ^_^
