I don't really like KDE4 though it's still better than Gnome (personal opinion).

I always use the alternate install CD since I don't want to change my Grub setting in a different Linux setup.

Actually it doesn't matter if you are a VM customer or not, the mirror is open to all.

It's usually pretty fast as well

True it is but for VM customers it may prove the fastest mirror.

When I grabbed my copy the VM mirrors still had the release candidate and Dublin was the fastest location for download.

I am still umming and arring about ubuntu, I don't gel with it but I might dual boot when I get a new HD just got Vista installed after much ball ache.
