What a fabulous, friendly, helpful, constructive thread this is.
The guy posts asking for advice on choosing a new ISP and basically gets given grief for daring to consider leaving Virgin and people picking holes in the very standard AUP that the ISP he is considering using have.
Huge thumbs up to the people who did post constructively though.
All ISPs without exception have a FUP, Be have
never throttled anyone and the only form of shaping they use is to prioritise business traffic over consumer traffic. They are no more limited than VM were pre-STM. Same goes for Sky Max.
Honestly anyone would think that VM are the only ISP that can offer anything like a service to anyone and the rest of us without it are all getting throttled after downloading 1MB a week and spend most of our time getting 56k like speeds.
Bit slow as there are 2 other PCs running both gaming but:
Download Speed: 15040 kbps (1880 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 2002 kbps (250.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
