Re: ntl: Select Pack Question?

Just called earlier, the guy i spoke to said the new cost would come to about £26. Because of the £6 price difference between "Starter" and "L" pack. Apparently Starter is £16.50 (which i don't believe, i'm sure it's not that much) and L is £22 something.

He explained it as follows...

Current Package:
Starter (£16.50) + M Broadband (£18.00) = £34.50 - Discount (£14.50) = £20

New Package:
L TV Package (£22 something) + M Broadband (£18.00) = £40 something - Discount (£14.50) = £25.50-£26.50

So in the end i didnt change to TV L.

Is the "normal" cost of the Starter Pack (ex-Select Pack) really £16.50? For some reason i don't believe it to be that high. I was under the impression it was between £5-£10.

the price of the starter/select pack is/was £5.50, the prices quoted to you include a telephone line £16.50/£22

Those prices quoted include telephone line-rental.

The 2 for £20 deal does not include line-rental just TV Size: L and Broadband Size: M.

Re: ntl: Select Pack Question?

Ok, tried again today. and i was told "No" i cannot upgrade to the new 2 for £20 which includes the L TV Pack as i'm already on the 2 for £20 deal.

UNhappy as i've seen many other people who have been migrated
